Scorpion infestation in Aswan, Egypt.

After heavy thunderstorms and the hail scorpions got washed into streets and houses leading to three people’s death and hundreds of injured people.
As per BBC report at least 450 people were injured with scorpion stings. The hail and thunderstorm in the area near the River Nile on 12 November 2021. Scorpions are washed into the streets by heavy rain and snakes have also been disturbed.
People are instructed to stay indoors, especially places with many trees. Extra doses of anti-venom are been provided to medical centres in villages near mountains and deserts.
