Israeli airplanes strike Gaza Strip refugee camps, killing several people
- November 6, 2023
At least 40 people were killed and numerous others were injured when Israeli airplanes attacked a Gaza Strip refugee camp early on Sunday, according to health officials. The attack occurred as Israel declared that, in spite of US requests for a halt to provide help to beleaguered people, it would continue its offensive to overthrow the Hamas leadership in the region. This was the third complete communications outage Gaza had seen since the Israel-Hamas conflict began. Paltel, a Palestinian communications operator, declared that all of its "internet and communication services" were unavailable once more. NetBlocks.org, an advocacy group for internet access, confirmed that communications within the besieged area were restricted.
