Gallant, Pentagon chief discuss Israeli operations in Gaza

The Pentagon reports that Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip were discussed during a second phone conversation between Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and US colleague Lloyd Austin.
In the US briefing, Austin was quoted as emphasising "the urgency of humanitarian aid delivery for civilians in Gaza and the importance of protecting civilians during Israel Defense Forces' operations."
“He also raised his focus on the need for Hamas to release all of the hostages,” the statement continues.
